Hi Mr/Ms Google
I'm building a network of regional, city and town websites - Holiday Guides - in northern Thailand. Its depressing to have just been shoved off the top of page one for "Phayao Holiday Guide" when the majority of our content is original... and insult is added to injury by sites ranking higher that contain content copied from Wikipedia, or "borrowed" from OUR sites!!!
A good example is: http://www.hotsia.com/phayao/chiang%20kham.shtml - the first image shown is from OUR www.phayao-thailand.info site! Worse, it even has MY photo within this page - eating a bowl of noodles, from our main site - www.GT-Rider.com!!! :-)
The top ranking page is: http://www.foxiw.com/th/city/phayao.html - yet this site has one page of trivia, whereas our www.phayao-thailand.info has over 50 pages of content specifc to the Province!
Frankly, that sucks... its unjust, and it begs the question... WHY are those generating good content being punished? And why are the thieves not identified and dealt to? Surely, anyone blatantly scraping Google Images and displaying them as their own can easily be identified?
There is NO legitimate excuse for allowing it that I can think of...
Our image galleries are personally photographed by us, at great time and expense... and Google Images facilitates "theft of content" by scrapers like Hotsia.com and many others.
