Google Algo change was done prematurely and without proper research. Citing content farms like Demand Studios as a target Google inadvertently gave a bump to Demand and shot down original, and unique content, that were more relevant to searches. For example, on a broad and undefined search I held the top two places on Google. One was a blog summary of the story, the other the actual story. The actual story appeared on Associated Content while the summary appeared on wordpress blog. Associated Content got knocked out but the quick summary on wordpress still ranks number one. So it didnt do anything to eliminate low quality content. It took aim, fired, and left everyone else to clean-up the mess. And if you got hit with the shrapnel; "screw you-we live at the White House now and really cant properly focus on what we do well." BTW, that Associated Content piece that they stripped, turned into a two week spotlight on one of the highest rated cable news shows-the host, citing the work and author by name. Google Fail
