I totally agree with you about it not being VOODOO to a programmer b/c it's totally based on science (not magic or voodoo) but when WE try to GUESS by saying it's the bounce rate, 200 words or more, no-index, bad links, and etc. then it is VOODOO and from what all I can tell...

None of our tricks or remedies seem to work except 2 things which is...

#1 - maybe making your site better for users  or...

#2 - making enough noise or getting enough PR that google will notice (see daniweb, labnol & cultofmac)
