thank you for the corroboration. i've been testing to see if the problem is Sprint or nearby towers versus GV and IT IS DEFINITELY A GOOGLE VOICE PROBLEM.
- I have had friends send SMS directly to my cell phone #, and within a few seconds also to my GV number.
- On my computer the text to GV is received immediately.
- On my mobile the msgs sent directly to my cell phone # are received immediately.
- On my mobile the msgs sent to GV are received after a delay of several-to-many minutes.
Just now my phone notified me a new text came in, at 10:34 my time. The same text was received in GV on my computer at 10:10.
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Texting is an INSTANT MESSAGING mode of communication and in some situations the "instant" part of that phrase is vital, perhaps even to life & limb.
