FYI, a confirmation of the extent of the issue, and a status update, from a Sprint rep over on Sprint's user forum.  Note that they acknowledge their intent was for Individually Liable corporate discount accounts to be able to use integration, but it is known to be broken at this time:

It sounds like the best thing to do for now, is just forget about it and wait for Sprint and Google to iron out this issue.
