For those of you who are saying that you need your number for business, maybe you should go somewhere else. Google Voice is NOT a carrier, and they are very clear about this when you sign up.

If I knew that a business was using Google as their primary method of communications, I would be a little weary. I get the frustrations, but you could always get a new number somewhere else. Remember the days BEFORE porting?
