I am trying to translate Japanese into English. To automate the extraction of the English words I am using Matlab programme. Attached is a screenshot of the outputs. I can use the script to translate English into Japanese but I cannot translate the Japanese text to English. I can copy and paste the japanese text into google translate (if I try to copy and paste into here I get the square boxes). I am pretty sure that this is due on how my string is coded but I cannot find a solution. Any suggestions?
