I think the real problem is hinted to in many of the responses to similar questions - which certain people can't help but point out: Tiresome, bothersome, etc. In other words, they don't really care what you think or what OS you want to use. You'll take it their way and like it - or use something else. I'm going to use something else. My windows box just died, the install cd is scratched up, and I'm not going to the trouble of another licensed copy of windows, I only bought XP because of a similar situation a few years ago with another tool. Too bad too, I was impressed enough to actually buy the pro version! Pretty cool software guys, sorry our ways will part. Some of us dont like Bill Gates, and didnt like Steve Jobs either. We dont like them, their companeis, their people skills, style, or products. Actually, thats putting it mildly. Forcing us to use one of their platforms to use your tool just wont work - we are that percentage I guess - the same percentage that suffers decade after decade. We see a completely different history of computing machines - an alternative one - we dont deny ya'll's place (it's everywhere) but it stinks to hear some little snot nosed twit deny us ours - we helped build yours. We remember crap like Microsoft "Bob" - which is all windows is -- Say hi to Bob for me . . |
