I am an industrial and Product designer who can't stand Windows or Mac OS anymore, so I switch to Ubuntu about 4 years ago. I have everything i want there including 3Dcad software, but when it comes to render a quick 3D presentation to illustrate an idea there is nothing like Sketchup ... meaning I don't want to waste most of the day on Blender or FreeCAD (or eventually K3D and Wings) because i only have a couple of hours before the client enter my workshop... And I can't really run on Ubuntu that super cool, simple, easy, fastest, God used it to create the Garden of Eden, software which is Sketchup. So please is there a way to get it to run on Ubuntu without using Wine?
