One way "might" be to create only one arm at a time, make a component and then create an array for the other 2 arms. To create that single arm, you might be able do it by creating a round circle and manipulate it with the Scale Tool to make it oval. Then use Push/Pull to extend or extrude that shape a wee bit, then select the face again and Scale it again ... Repeat, Rinse, Repeat !!! However, I'm guessing the best Tool/Plugin would be " FredoScale 2" (or higher) which you can obtain from the SketchUcation website (where you will have to be or become a Member to download Plugins and obtain Instructions). To be honest, I have this plugin but have never yet used it. However, from the videos that are available (see YouTube), I believe this will be by far, the best plugin to easily create this model in a single piece or as a single arm component copied/pasted in an array. The videos sure make it look easy to create very complex shapes quickly. It is an Excellent Plugin for sure. |
