I´m having the exact same problem. bought Sketchup pro 8 for mac and trying to install Vray plugin in the Google SketchUp 8 folder, it prompts: "No 'plugins' folder found... Please try again". But the folder does contain a plugins folder, so I´m a bit lost here.. not to say pissed off ;)
