Hi: thanks for your response. I haven't found a video that covers this topic.  I don't want Sketchup to scatter.  I just want to create block shapes, color them, then place them on edge, on top of each other, on a roof etc. ... in the story they are ejected from a huge box by a curious cat that paws an 'Open Here'  button.  In another illustration I want to show these blocks being assembled into a simple rocket. Can't I create a 3-d block in Sketchup that move, turn, rotate, like a real block? I have often created and moved 2-d shapes in drafting programs to make steps.
