Re: I continue to unsubscribe to feeds, yet they keep coming back. I think it is isolated to the google follow.

Is 'Show followed blogs from Blogger.' checked or not checked in Reader Settings ?
Unfollow them from your Blogger Dashboard (Reading List) , or via the individual blogs.
