What's most alarming about all of this is the lack of response or service people seem to be reporting? This isn't hosting a Word application for cryin' out loud? This is email - the communication lifeblood of most organizations. If you can't pick up the phone and call someone for help when your email goes down, is any amount of savings worth that? We've all questioned Google's seriousness about security since acquiring Postini. But this really makes me question how serious Google is about being in the security industry. Google Maps? Yes please! Google/Postini email security? No thank you......I think I'll find a company focused just on security instead.
