I am new to learning how to share my Web Albums Picasa 3.9 with friends and family. I recently imported vacation photos from my camera to my computer, then imported them into a new Picasa folder to which I gave a title. That same folder also shows as a Web Album, and I don't know how I made it a Web Album - or what the difference is between a Folder and a Web Album. I've uploaded and downloaded the vacation folder in Picasa and I can't find a way to achieve my goal of sharing my photos with friends and family - SO THEY CAN VIEW SLIDESHOW and have the option of clicking through one picture at a time.
Should I be in upload or download of my Picasa folder (album?) to send a slideshow to friends as I see online via my Picasa folder 1) click through at your own pace with elongated bubble of text at the bottom. Or do I not have that option?
The slide shows of my folder I've viewed online via Picasa are: 1) click through at your own pace with elongated bubble of text at the bottom. Perfect- this is exactly what I want to send to my friends and family - but if I click SHARE and send an email to myself as a test, I receive a slideshow option at 5 seconds per photo so the viewer has no time to read the small text and view the photo. I WENT BACK INTO SLIDESHOW twice to reset the viewing options to 20 seconds per photo, with option for viewer to click forward at will. The change works for me online when I'm logged into Picasa - but, again when I hit the share button to my email address as a test, I received the same email option with a slideshow of 5 second per pic with no other viewing options.
I would very much appreciate any advice you can share with me, considering I'm a neophyte in this process. Blessings and best wishes, Chichi
