In an effort to help Google address this lingering problem I created a zip archive that contains a photo that is consistently rejected by Picasa Web regardless of the image format, size, or meta-data. Only the PNG is accepted. (PNG is a workaround solution, apparently, but the format uses much more space because it is a lossless format not appropriate for digital photos.) https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B_RJSDfar4LbOWM3NDM1OWEtNGM1Ny00ZGViLTg3YjAtN2IxNGE2MWU0OTBl&hl=en_USI include in the archive the original .JPG as well as .gif, .tiff, .jp2, and .png plus EXIF-stripped (*s.jpg), cropped (*k.jpg) and stripped and cropped (*ks.jpg). |
