What's the best way to move the 5,700+ photos in my iPhoto (version 4.0.3) on my old 2001 PowerPC G4 Mac (OSX 10.4.11) to a new HP Pavilion PC with Windows 7 Service Pack 1? Can I copy the photos to Picasa for Mac and then transfer to Picasa for Windows in order to use my new PC in the future for storing, editing and printing pictures?  (When I tried to copy the pics from Mac to PC without Picasa the photos came over out of chronological order, no longer had the original pic dates and many photos were missing) Thanks for your input.
