Hey mamacats, I had Carbonite, too, and when I needed to restore after a computer crash, I found out Carbonite didn't have all my files. Some videos were missing as well as other stuff. Also, Carbonite will only keep your files for 30 days if you delete something. It was my two external hard drive backups that had ALL my files and would have been much quicker to restore than waiting 2 weeks for Carbonite to finish it's job.
