@Marmot2 thanks for the tips I shall try it once the phone is fully charged although I doubt it would work. Our usage seems similar, rare phone calls, light email and SMS, and little browsing. Yet I still have to charge of half way through the day. I had to cut my usage down dramatically after I got this phone. With my blackberry I could power use all day and still have enough battery juice left to turn on a light bulb. I used to browse all day, bbm, email, make phone calls, etc and have plenty of battery left. After my first day with this phone I was like.....oh OK....well I clearly have to cut down
 I have and it still doesn't seem to make much of a difference. I have a feeling it is the phone searching on its own and constant trying to search for a signal because it makes the phone components work more to achieve a result.
