Stock 2.3.3 - I experience the problem mostly when running Navigation. It's annoying enough that i can't make use of the GPS properly.
Stock 2.3.4 - it's much worse hitting frequently when running 3g data connections. Never happens when on wifi.

I will attempt to capture a logcat later today during the problem
