In my opinion this is not a software issue it is a defect in the hardware! I have come to this deduction because my mother has this phone and she purchased it a week after I purchased mine (back in may 14 the and she got hers may 20th) she purchased hers in London where I purchased mine in Brockville ( opposite ends of Ontario 6hours away) her phone , running off the same O.S as the three nexus s's I've had and the current on. However, her phone has never experienced this issue! When I showed her this forum back in July she couldn't believe this. Still to this day I experience the bug.....although less frequent as the previous ones I had...is this not proof that there is a hardware defect present? If it was software wouldn't it affect my current phone just as frequently as my previous phones which I exchanged?
On top of this all I am not sure what I would do at this time.....as of right now I would stay with Android ...but not sure which phone I wouldn't get seeing as I have eliminated all the other Android phones like the Galaxy S as I think the Nexus S has a nicer design and was advertised as being an amazing phone (which it is when it works!!!!) I think I myself would give(and by give I mean Google should give it to me free of charge for this p.o.s) the new nexus a shot when it comes out BUT I would like it to be with conditions that if I hate the phone or if it has a glitch which renders the device useless that I am fully reimbursed for my nexus s that I purchased....who knows....my view might change if Google doesn't respond in an appropriate fashion soon!!! |
