Device:Iphone 4 Carrier:Rogers Country / Language: Canada OS / Browser / build number (if applicable): Safari iOS 5.1 I have Safari which came pre-installed with my iphone 4, through which I connect to Google. Once connected to "Google.com" I click on the "more" tab on the top of the Google search page and from there "Apps" and then "even more" and finally "talk". I am usually logged in to google talk automatically as I open my Safari browser but since this evening I can't access google talk. At first when I tried to open it the screen blinked and gave me an "error 404". I noticed that google's bookmark was also missing from my saved bookmarks. I however book marked it again. However now when I try to open the "talk" from "Google's home page" it opens a page which states "Google talk" and there is a blue tab saying "Launch Now". When I click on that it says "Not found Error 404".
I had a similar issue in March 2011 but due to google support team's excellent service I was back on google talk within a couple of days. I shall appreciate if some one could please help me again and let me know what the problem is so that I am able to chat with my contacts.
I am only having this issue on iphone. I can chat with my contacts on computer through G-mail chat. Thanks for your time in reading this and for your help. |
