Imho, this seems to be an issue with accounts using the same "name"
The Picasa uploader tries to authenticate against the wrong account (ie dropbox, linkedin,etc) because those accounts usually use your email address as account name.

My logcat showed this behabior, tying to get "mye...@gmail.com" auth token and then dropbox authenticator replied to it ibstwad of my gmail account.
