Still have the same problem months later.    If you're using maps or google and decide to make a call, if you hit the call button without exiting the apps, the phone will give the error message AND YOUR RINGER WILL BE DISABLED WITHOUT WARNING, even though the sound profile is normal.  Only solution is a hard reboot. 

Spent a lot of time with various blackberry phone support people.   Kept saying they would look into it, send a message to google, etc.   But in the end got no result... it's a google app problem.

Does anyone from Google ever respond to these postings??  Is there any better way to contact Google Support?
