Next to the HTC One V, which does not have a builtin compass, I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro and a Sony Tablet S.

On the Sony devices (which have a builtin compass BTW) Maps 6.8.1 and the compass mode worked fine when Android 2.3.x was installed. As soon as I upgraded both devices to ICS 4.04 the compass mode did not work any longer.

Pressing the my Location button twice or more times does not have any impact as before. 
THIS IS NOT A GOOD SIGN, GOOGLE MAPS DEVELOPERS!!! Please fix this!
And BTW, when you move and have GPS on, one does not need a builtin compass to go into a "bearing up" mode!
