Guys seriously...this is a hardware fault...i also thought its a software issue & kept waiting for 2 months for an update to resolve the issue...but in vain..
Around July i sent the phone to Samsung USA to repair & they replaced the PBA (motherboard) of the phone & when i received the phone back in August, it was as good as new..i really felt stupid to wait for 2-3 months always trying to keep the phone up & running, etc...
On saturday i received the ICS update...installed it & the phone is working fine with that too...
All of you who are facing an issue with the booting up of the phone, please send it to Samsung service center.
