EDIT: OK, was able to finally get it to boot and confirmed it is build GRJ22, however while on the screen showing this the phone went black and then tried to reboot on its own.  It seemed to reboot fairly quickly (before I got even part way through this updated post), seems like it might be fine, if a little warm to the touch.  Battery is fully charged now as I have left it on the charger since for the last 4+ hours.  It was not below 30% prior to this today and today is the first time I've had this issue.

The only thing on the phone I have changed recently (other than 2.3.4) is adding an emulator application late last night (Tiger SNES).  That might be going if I continue to have this problem as other than 2.3.4 it is the only recent addition to the phone that can be the cause for this problem.
