firstly, my data connection was enabled at night day before yesterday after which the phone refuses to start up...i generally don't keep the data connection enabled especially at night...i was adding contacts into my skype account through that "add from contacts" option...skype went searching for friends from my contact list...and today i am reading all over the internet that skype crashed globally...hmmm...did a skype crash lead to my phone switching off??

and i have read earlier in the "Nexus goes into fault state" forum that people faced boot issue when the data connection was left turned ON when the phone shut down...

don't know...tried tried & tried...phone is just not getting past the Google logo...
