I have posted on this thread earlier. The booting problem was solved only after I sent the device to Samsung, which replaced the PBA and it worked well for 3 weeks. I drained the battery completely and it rebooted without problems.

But 10 days back, it was back to the same problem! Hangs displaying 'Google'. It was actually fully charged when I rebooted it.

Its been with Samsung service for 10 days now. Hope to get it tomorrow. If it fails once more am buying an iPhone!!

Another curious thing happened: At first, the device had very bad battery - only 10 hours even if it was in Airplane mode!! - then about 2 weeks later for a day the battery was fantastic - like 60%-70% after 10-12 hrs of use. It was usual 10 hrs to drain from the next day. It happened with the original phone AND when I got the phone with a replaced PBA (what does PBA stand for anyway?). I don't remember correctly but I think the boot hang did not happen before this event!!!
