for the last several weeks, I have been unable to download any apps.  it starts the download, bar indicator progresses from left to right, "downloading" message appears, and then nothing.  10 minutes later, and the compass app is still "downloading"  

what am I missing?  is it possible that the facebook update and compass apps are just broken?
