A ridiculous ending to a long a long story:

 

Sprinters downed me to Froyo no problem. I got home and undertook the laborious task of putting back all the apps (AppMonster), the screens (ShootMe) and the folders (Launcher Pro) and so on. I’m tapping a million things while reconfiguring ninety apps, and guess what: the Gingerbread update popped up and I was so frantic, I accidentally tapped Now, just to get it out of the way!

So then it went back to Gingerbread. I’ve spent most of my day getting my droid back to where it was when I woke up, and there’s still more to do. But it was fun, in a twisted sort of way, knowing that I can repopulate a ‘new’ droid.

But I don’t have the energy to go back and beg them to do it again...
