I was using this phone in the UK. I moved back to India and now I am not able to use this phone. Although the "Network" in the Status menu says Airtel or Vodafone, the "Service Status is Out of service." The phone is not locked and I have tried with many SIMs from other networks but its just doesn't camp!! My guess is the service domain may be set as just "PS only". Since we cannot get into Service Mode on Nexus S, am not sure how to overcome this. Need to know what is wrong. Do I need to flash a new ROM, etc? 

Please suggest as my Nexus is as good as a brick now! :(
