Iphone google voice app says 'Not Sent' for text messages

Trying to send text messages through iphone google voice app. I am able to receive text messages but unable to send them. It keeps telling 'Not Sent' everytime. Whats wrong? I tried wifi as well as 3G, just not able to send text messages. I'm using full 10 digit number in US. Please advice.
