Hey Paul, my issue is slightly different.  Razr Maxx purchased new 4 days ago. 3 GMail accounts synched perfectly for 3 days.  Yesterday for no reason it began giving me "Incorrect Username or Password [NO Mechanism not available] message.  I do not have 2 step verification on any of the accounts. I check this step for sure.  I have followed the link  https://www.google.com/accounts/UnlockCaptcha  as directed by Verizon tech support and by Google Forums.  Leads to a dead end page that tells me to log into my account within the next ten minutes so Google can remember the log in....Have done this numerous times - logging in via the phone and via the PC just to be sure I wasn't misreading the instructions.  Still nothing.
