For the phone I have, Motorola Razr Maxx, Go to settings, then privacy, then factory reset...if you aren't confident...get help from a cell phone store that sells the same phone you have...even if it costs a couple bucks, its worth it. My retailer did it for me for free. If you are a verizon customer they have a system which i hope you are using called Back Up Assistant. Before you reset...use this system to save your contacts "in the cloud" - it is the easiest way to recover all your contacts, pics, texts and all the other stuff you may have on your phone. And all your paid apps should automatically reset as well. I don't know this for sure as my phone was basically new and I hadn't purchased any yet. but the Verizon rep explained that it will re-load your paid apps for free in this process some how and you won't have to buy them a second time. Good luck. the phone has been flawless ever since. Plus using the GMail via the correct set up is easier to use. cpd |
