I called google about this today, 8/9/11.  They offer no help at all.  The arrogance and incopmpetence is amazing.  Anyone have the CEO's address?  This failure is now about a month old, at least.
Perhaps when a google employee has to use a cell phone for this, it will get fixed.  This is one of the poorest replies to a problem I have ever sen.
