         I found that recovery option in Gmail last night on my computer, but forgot how I got there, but had to do with recover contacts or edit and delete and merge duplicates.



      See this link at bottom should help, I will try and find the link to access your contacts just forgot where? Only found out about it last night by accident. And you have to find it within Gmail on your computer.

Not the link I was at, but should help in finding the correct one to recover contacts. Sure that question was asked before you can try a search here on this site maybe it was already answered. good luck

I did it last night to one of my cells just to test it out and worked!
