I will echo the OP so as to lend support. I have been a BB user for the last 6+years and the ability to configure Profiles to the different environments we all occupy from time to time.
At night, I too need to have the phone ring if called but I want no other notifications pinging through.
I REALLY REALLY hope there is a reasonable solution to this. I have found a variety of threads in a variety of blogs... PLEASE PLEASE give us this control back PDQ.
