I am having the same problem. I understand now how to remove these "other contacts" but they are still appearing in my phone when I go to send an email through Gmail. Seems to be some sort of syncing issue but my phone isn't even supposed to sync with google contacts, it syncs to the icloud. Any luck on finding a way to make it stop?
