Same problem as TrayBone, GulfCoaswt_Guy, & others . . .
After a year or so use of Google Maps (which I prefer over live search maps) with quick GPS,
On AT&T Tilt / HTC Kaiser 8900, WM 6.1,
I did (another) upgrade of Google Maps Mobile some 10 days ago.
Since then, upon starting Google Maps my phone always hands for a while (30-45 seconds), and then I always get the error "~Network Connection required ~ WinInetReadError [0 404 141/141] ". :-(
I have repeatedly uninstalled & reinstalled, with & without saving prior data, resetting phone, etc., but to no avail.
From Google searches, this seemes related to the recent version upgrade, and seems to hit a variety of phones. Wondering if it is related to some typical microsoft "feature" which was infiltrated at bout the time of their bling / live search upgrades (which I did not use, until now that Google maps mobile does not work.
Does anyone have any answers? Is there a way to delete this latest google maps mobile, and then reinstall reinstall the prior version???
