Wish I had a solution for any of this as well... I am having nearly every issue you described, Shortnic!  Just realized today that besides the low memory error message that seems to be burned onto my notifications screen at this point... I am not getting my gmail, voice message notifications, or text messages!  Awesome!  I have deleted apps off, cleared data, hard and soft restarts.  I can occasionally get the low memory error to go away, but it comes back within a few hours and I am stuck again.  I also get a message that there is a new system update nearly everytime I reboot my phone, but when I click to allow the install, it doesn't seem to complete, yet my phone always shows my "system is up to date".  I seriously loved my phone and had few to no issues until I got the 2.3 update, now I am lost as to what to do because everything I do that is supposed to fix it doesn't; or only does for a short period of time. So if anyone finds the magic bullet to resolve all of this (aside for getting a new phone), let me know too!!
