I have figured out a solution to this problem.
First, I have a Droid RAZR running ICS 4.0.4
I had to pull out my micro SD card containing all my music.
I then forced stopped Google Play Music Cleared Google Play Music's cache Then disabled it.
I put the micro SD card back in. After verifying it had mounted successfully, I went back to the Google Play Store to search for Google Play Music. There was an option to enable it from the store. After enabling it. I ran the app. There was a prompt to connect my google play account. Press back here. do not enable your account yet. Wait for all your music to be read off of the micro sd card.
voila! your music is as it should be. |
