"It is Google's standard practice to show all disputed regions around the world on its global properties, such as on maps.google.com."

if this is true, google should have marked Tibet separate from China. Tibet, too, is disputed territory! Just read the first line of [1]. It goes "Tibet (Tibetanབོད་Wyliebodpronounced [pʰø̀ʔ]Chinese西藏pinyinXī Zàng) is a plateau region in Asia and disputed territory, north of the Himalayas"

It's pretty lame that google decides Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Uttaranchal to be disputed territories (as of Dec 24, 2009) and chooses to treat Tibet as a part of China, when clearly Tibet, the country, has a head of state living in exile!

I strongly suggest that you ask your superiors to try to come up with a better spin on what clearly is a lack of spine in google's will to be fair and morally right!
