After upgrading a LG P970 to version V20o and thereby getting Google Maps version 6.0.0 I no longer have a compass needle in the upper left corner of the screen.
The 3D mode in maps cannot be started either. When I press the "compass rose" in the upper right hand corner the square around the icon turns yellow but nothing else happens.
How can I get the needle back?
Do I have to backtrack to an earlier version of Google Maps, and if so where can I find one?

Would appreciate any suggestions
