"It depends" - usually somewhere between 60 and 200 features. the exact point is decided on your exact data. Sometimes it can be as low as 30.
This: allows you to view different without pages, but still only displays 80 features at most at one time.
... but beware that My Maps have a limit of 1000 features anyway.
I suggest you try out Google Earth - being a desktop application it can cope with many more placemarks (in the tens of thousends) |
