I have this issue with two separate Motorola Atrix's on the ATT network in Jacksonville, FL.

system version is 4.5.141.MB860
Android version is 2.3.6
Maps version is 6.9.0

With both devices there is no GPS fix in maps, only a very poor triangulation fix.
If I happen to be where I can get WiFi, the fix is OK

When I am driving where there is never WiFi, Maps is unusable because it won't even come close to my location.

If I uninstall all Maps updates and go back to version 5.8.0, Maps works perfectly and I get the quick & accurate GPS fixes I used to.

If your tech ppl need an Atrix to experiment with, please let me know!
