The videos might have been made with an old Google Maps interface. 

Hopefully, this will help:

Go to maps.google.com

Display the map you want to embed.

Click on the "chain-link" icon...at the top, just to the left of the map window.

Select the "embed" HTML from the lower box (or click on the link to further customize the embed code).
