there is a new application, Plan B that the OP tried to install remotely and failed because the phone is dead. His only hope now is that whoever found/stole his phone charges the battery and turns it on so he can try to install Plan B again. Otherwise, he is out of luck.
Plan B can be installed remotely on the phone after it has been lost.
