Well, what has to be fixed is

1- The not-for-profit userID cannot log into Domain Management or access the dashboard
2- The domain name is now verified to a user ID that is a Google Apps for Business userID, NOT out not-for-proifit userID

It looks like the link you cite above to change the associated user account is exactly what we need.  I'll give that a try as soon as possible!
