I have the same problem on my Razr Maxx.  It's a well-known bug in the Goggle+ Hangout app.  It happens on many phones.  Please fix it.  An uninstall and reinstall won't fix this because it is a coding bug error.  A battery pull or waiting several minutes after ending a Hangout session usually restores sounds.
